Journal Commons Apartments

Milwaukee, WI

Residents write their own stories in the inviting amenity spaces of what was once the home of Milwaukee journalism

Art Deco inspiration pays homage to the historic home of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, originally built in 1924 by Chicago architect Frank D. Chase. Modern touches and conveniences warm the amenity spaces in the J. Jeffers & Co. rehabilitation/ mixed use project that converted the office and printing headquarters into market rate apartments and ground floor commercial space. Brand colors of the Journal Commons are woven throughout the co-working cafe, lobby, game room and lounge to blend seamlessly with the historic walnut millwork, hardwood and marble floors, and brass finishes.
