Inspired by the Lowlands region of Europe, the refreshed interior of Café Benelux transports guests straight to a grand European café—a place where locals and travelers alike gather over a bier, a scratch-made meal, and easy conversation. At the heart of the space, a large marble-topped bar anchors the room, acting as a lively social hub where the spirit of the Benelux region comes to life.
The THREE SIXTY design team expanded and reimagined seating options to enhance comfort and flexibility, introducing elevated seating wrapped in luxe velvets and reinterpreted classic patterned finishes that blend contemporary sophistication with timeless charm. The café’s architectural bones were celebrated and enhanced—ornate flooring, vintage-inspired millwork and upholstery details, and curated artwork tell the story of European café culture through a distinctly Milwaukee lens.
Lighting was treated as an essential design layer, with curated fixtures—many sourced directly from Europe—adding character, warmth, and authenticity to the atmosphere. Vintage beer signs and regional artwork further infuse the space with a sense of history and cultural connection, deepening the guest’s immersion in the Lowlands aesthetic.
